ALL SAINTS DAY (CONFIRMATION DAY)
November 1
All Saints’ Day, celebrated on November 1st, is a solemnity honoring all the saints, known and unknown, who have attained heaven. It is a day for the faithful to remember and seek the intercession of the saints who have led exemplary lives of virtue and faith. The celebration includes special Masses, prayers, and sometimes processions.
Confirmation Day, often held on All Saints’ Day or around this time, is a significant event in the life of young Catholics. It is the sacrament through which they receive the Holy Spirit, strengthening their faith and commitment to the Church. The ceremony involves the laying on of hands and anointing with chrism oil by the bishop or a designated priest.
